AOTM: Fleetwood Mac Set To Release Tango in the Night Remastered

Tango in the Night was released in 1987 and was the last album featuring the lineup of Fleetwood, the McVies, Nicks, and Buckingham. Their 14th studio album, Tango in the Night began as a Buckingham solo project and turned into a Fleetwood Mac album. Tango in the Night is the band’s second best-selling album after Rumours, and spent seven months in the Top 20, as well as ten months in the Top 40 on US charts. The album produced numerous hit singles and is now set for reissue on March 31, 2017.

The thirtieth anniversary collection will be released in four formats. Fans can choose from a deluxe- 1LP/3CD/1DVD, an expanded – 2CD edition, 1CD remaster, or a digital download. Here is what each edition will offer:

Tango in the Night Deluxe- 1LP/3CD/1DVD

  • CD1: Tango In The Night remastered
  • CD2: Features previously unreleased B-sides, sessions and outtakes including unreleased gems like the alternate version of “Mystified,” a demo for the album’s title song, plus the rare b-sides: “Down Endless Street” and “Ricky.”
  • CD3: Showcases more than a dozen 12” mixes including dub versions of “Seven Wonders” and “Everywhere” and an extended version of “Little Lies” remixed by John “Jellybean” Benitez.
  • DVD: Features official music videos for “Big Love,” “Seven Wonders,” “Little Lies,” “Family Man,” and “Everywhere,” plus High Resolution Stereo Audio of the original album
  • LP: Tango In The Night remastered on 180-gram vinyl

Tango in the Night Expanded – 2CD

  • CD1: Tango In The Night remastered
  • CD2: Features previously unreleased B-sides, sessions and outtakes including unreleased gems like the alternate version of “Mystified,” a demo for the album’s title song, plus the rare b-sides: “Down Endless Street” and “Ricky.”

Tango in the Night 1CD Remaster

  • Includes one CD of the album remastered.

Tango in the Night Digital Download

  • The band has also made available a digital download of the album.

Fleetwood Mac’s Tango in Night was their second best-selling album and will be available March 31, 2017. Featuring the album in its entirety plus a few extras, the editions are sure to please any Fleetwood Mac fan out there. Fans can get all the info at their website, and also pre-order it.
