Bob Wood is a self-taught guitar player. Originally from Virginia, Wood grew up in a musical family. At 16, he left home and went on the road playing gigs across the U.S. and Canada. After entering his eighties, Bob finally went viral on Facebook proving you’re never too old to do anything. Check out his video while in a music store in 2014…

In 2016, GoPro created a video of Bob Wood playing guitar and talking about the importance of family. Bob says nobody on earth is richer than him, and his family are his riches. Watch Bob’s GoPro video below.

Bob says on his website, “God willing, I’ll be pickin’ and grinnin’ until they pat me in the face with a spade.”
