Amos Heller has shared a stage with Taylor Swift for over 15 years as a member of her live backing band, the Agency. Now that the record-setting Eras Tour has come to a historic end, the bassist has shared his reflections on the epic tour – along with some photos and videos from the shows – in a lengthy Instagram post on Tuesday (December 10). “No more walking into a ringing stadium feeling like a gladiator. No more screaming lyrics with a perfect stranger who’s now your best friend,” Heller wrote. “This is the best I can do now. It’s a completed work. I’ve emerged changed.” Heller went on to praise Swift by adding: “You command so much respect and admiration from everyone who’s fortunate enough to add their effort to yours. Your blend of focus, heart, stamina and joy calls forth the best of everyone around you. Thank you for trusting me with my part of your vision. It was the ride of a lifetime. I love you. Long live.” (People)
