The Rolling Stones have been quite busy the past couple of years; particularly in 2016. The band made history by performing in Havana, Cuba in March 2016 and had the performance later shown in theaters. They released an album called Blue and Lonesome last December covering their favorite blues songs, and The Rolling Stones had a very successful 2016 tour (ranking in the Top 5 for 2016). The Latin American portion of their 2016 tour will be available in a documentary called Ole! Ole! Ole! A Trip Across Latin America.
The Stones successful 2016 tour included an all-access video documenting their Latin American portion. The documentary followed the band through ten Latin American countries and according to the Stones’ official website, “The film captures the unique chemistry that exists between the Rolling Stones and their Latin American fans, a bond that has stretched across many years (rollingstones.com).” Ole! Ole! Ole! A Trip Across Latin America isn’t just a simple doc featuring live performances. The documentary includes intimate moments with band members, planning the Havana show, and full-length live performances from some of The Stones most popular songs such as “Brown Sugar”, “Paint It Black”, and many others. The 50 minute film was released to limited theaters last year in both Europe and North America, and will now be available for fans to purchase.

The documentary is slated for official release on May 26, however, Rolling Stones fans can order it through the band’s official website. Right now, preorders for the digital version are available for $15.99. For those desiring the physical copy, they will need to wait a bit longer as links to the DVD and Blu-ray versions should be ready at a later date. The doc is worth the wait, though, as it highlights a band still in their prime.
